This scholarship, valued up to £2,000, is offered by Loxley, a specialist law firm advising on all aspects of property law, with a particular emphasis on rural land and agricultural businesses. The firm was created in response to the diverse needs of owners and occupiers of land and those working in the rural sector.

The opportunity is open to all 2^nd & final year BSc students enrolled on a full-time Land and Property Management course, Agriculture with Farm Business Management or Environmental Land Management at 海角社区 Adams University. There will be no interviews for this scholarship and a decision will be made by the sponsor based on the submitted application, to include the answer to the following question, set by Loxley Solicitors.

In a document of no more than two A4 pages, give your answer to the following question:

“Tenant farmers holding tenancies pursuant to the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 or the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 face a disadvantage, when compared to freehold owners, in their ability to benefit from farm diversification and also Environmental Land Management Schemes.’ Discuss the veracity or otherwise of this statement.”
