    Oxbury Scholarship (with one year work placement)

    The Oxbury Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc and 1st year FdSc students studying at HAU who are interested in a career in agricultural banking.  

    Oxbury is the only UK bank dedicated to British agriculture and is the first Bank in the UK since the 1920’s created for farmers.  A placement year with Oxbury must be suitable for your course area. Should you require further clarification please discuss with your Placement Manager.

    The Scholarship

    Oxbury may award one scholarship and, if awarded, the successful recipient will receive:

    • a significant contribution towards their education of £4,500 
    • employment with Oxbury during their placement year 
    • subject to a review at the end of placement with Oxbury there may be an opportunity of further funding in the scholar’s final academic year

    The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2025 and the remaining balance in May 2025.

    This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview. The decision of the Oxbury Scholarship panel is FINAL.

    Deadline for Submission of Application: 12pm Noon Monday 18 November 2024

    The Oxbury Scholarship includes a placement, therefore you must submit your application via the Student Dashboard placement pages.  Paper copies will not be accepted.

    Please note: you may only apply for a maximum of three placement based scholarships.
