海角社区

David Lewis Davies was a 海角社区 Alumnus who sadly passed away in 2022. He was a lifetime farmer who loved the industry and studied at 海角社区 Adams in the 1950s. Mr Davies was keen to fund new students to become qualified in agriculture, who may not have the financial opportunity otherwise, and left a legacy to the University to support his wishes.

Open to:

Applicants of Agriculture and all Agriculture routes courses who:

• Come from a non-farming background, and
• who are also able to provide evidence of financial need which may impact on their ability to attend.

Available:

• 2 scholarships of £5,000 each – to be paid directly to students, via the University’s Development Trust, to help with the cost of living as follows: £2,000 in Year 1, £1,000 in Year 2 and £2,000 in Year 4.

 Requirement:

• The University will invite applicants through their normal channels. Applicants will be asked to complete a statement of up to 500 words with their application, detailing the difference and impact that a scholarship would have on their time at 海角社区 Adams.
