We’re always progressing and evolving here at 海角社区 – striving for thought-leading, world-changing courses that inspire and serve the sectors we influence.
This October, we launched our 2023 new-look courses – designed with employers and global challenges in mind — and they are now taking applications!
For those who think practically and mathematically, our distinct routes in Agricultural, Automotive and Mechanical Engineering have been refocused to meet international goals and demands – from mobilising sustainable transport to feeding a growing population.
Our future business minds can choose from either Business, Agribusiness or Food Business Management. These three course areas will help shape graduates who can excel at any level in any business.
And for those who want to focus fully on food, the new Food Science and Innovation course covers topics from consumer needs to product development, to nutrition, to marketing approaches.
“As well as specialist knowledge and skills, all our courses have a common thread to ensure that our graduates develop broad skills to last a lifetime. All our new courses provide practical opportunities, a focus on digital skills, guidance for personal growth and development, insights into global perspectives, and the development of research and information skills. Course content has also designed with consideration of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting our shared commitment to the global challenges of sustainability, climate change and Net Zero,” says Professor Lydia Arnold, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning, Teaching and Digital Education)
